Mini Camp

Mini Camp is a three-night, four-day introduction to the AGQ experience. It is designed for campers who are between the ages of 6 and 8 years old, and is especially valuable to those who are looking for an introduction into sleep-away camps.

Program Structure

Our Mini Camp program is intended to teach our younger campers the ways of the AGQ by tailoring activities to better suit the group. Our goal is to have a program where staff familiarity and a variety of different activities will help even our most hesitant campers acclimate to the overnight camp life.

Highlights

Our Mini Campers can expect to do a variety of activites while at AGQ including pony rides, boat rides, swimming, arts and crafts, and most importantly, campfires and s’mores!

 

Camp AGQ Land Acknowledgement

It is important for us to acknowledge that our camp is situated on Odawa and Anishinabewaki tribal homelands and that those of us who are not indigenous to the region are guests there. We are committed to developing relationships and collaborating with indigenous peoples in the surrounding areas in order to honor and respect their living legacies. We are grateful for the opportunities that this beautiful region offers our program participants.
