Working at an overnight camp provides a unique opportunity for young adults to develop real-world leadership skills and personal growth.
During the camp season, full summer staff engage in hands-on experiences with both youth and adults, building essential decision-making, leadership, and teamwork skills. Full Summer Staff team members can pursue specialized positions in leadership, administration, program support, and various specialist roles.
Play a crucial role in creating a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere for campers and their families, while also promoting education in and about the natural world. The immersive nature of camp life builds confidence, equipping staff with valuable skills that will benefit them in any future career path.

View our 2026 Pay Scale. We believe in transpaceny from top to bottom and strive to cultivate a value focused workplace. You’ll be able to see the Base Pay, Leadership Category, and Leadership Level for each position, as well as additional boost and certification bonuses you may be eligible for. Years of service will be determined by the number of full summers served in overnight youth camp programming.
